Sterilizer Service & Validation

At Medisure, we specialize in the Service, Calibration and Validation of Benchtop Sterilizers.

Australian Standards Requirements and Accreditation
To meet the requirements of the Australian Standards, all sterilizing equipment must be calibrated and validated on installation. The sterilizer must then be serviced, calibrated and validated at regular intervals of 12 months or less.
The service and validation procedures performed by Medisure for sterilizers are based on the recommendations as stipulated in the AS 4187 and AS 4815 codes of practice and are accepted by accreditation bodies such as AGPAL

We will contact you when your sterilizer is due and arrange a suitable time with you to perform the service and validation onsite. All information required for accreditation of your sterilizer and load will be supplied on completion….. We make it that simple!


Up to date Test Equipment
We use the latest Computerized Data Logging and Test Equipment to validate your sterilizer and all our test instruments have been tested against equipment that has been calibrated to NATA certification.

The services we offer can be performed at your premises or at our fully equipped workshop. Pick up and delivery of your sterilizer can also be arranged.

Reports and Documentation
Medisure has developed a service and validation procedure for each sterilizer and a check list unique to each model is followed throughout the procedure.

All tests and work carried out, along with parts used, Chamber Temperature Profile, (including graphs and temperature tables) Cold spot, Test Packs, Load contents, Penetration time and Time at Temperature are all included in the final report.

Service Agent
We are the appointed service agent in South Australia for the following manufacturers of Sterilizers.


As the appointed Service Agent, our technicians have completed the extensive training required to represent each of the above manufacturers’ in the maintenance of their equipment.

In addition to this, we have access to all parts, service manuals and backup that is required to properly maintain these sterilizers, as well as ongoing access to upgrades and modifications as they become available.
